MARGAO: The foundation stone for a modern futsal ground at C.R.C Chinchinim was laid on Friday by MLA Cruz Silva, in the presence of Sarpanch Frank Viegas and other community leaders.
The ceremony was attended by Club President Michael Benny Da Costa, members of C.R.C Chinchinim, Panchayat representatives, and was blessed by Fr. Victor Viegas.
Speaking at the event, MLA Cruz Silva highlighted the significance of sports infrastructure for youth, noting that the new futsal facility will provide a dedicated space for training, recreation, and community engagement. He also thanked the Panchayat and club members for their cooperation in taking the project forward.
