The Don Bosco College has earned accolades of being the Best College in Sports (Women) for the academic year 2024-25.
The honour was conferred during the 41st foundation day celebration of Goa University recently at the hands of Governor of Kerala Rajendra Arlekar in recognition of the college's exceptional achievements in women's sports.
Accepting the award on behalf of the college were Rev Fr Kinley D'Cruz, director of Don Bosco College; Dr Cedric Silveira, Principal; Ryan Pereira, director of Physical Education and Sports and Prissie Fernandes, instructor in Physical Education. This recognition stands as a testament to Don Bosco College’s steadfast commitment to promoting women’s sports and nurturing athletic talent. The college’s women’s teams have displayed outstanding performances in football, tennikoit, powerlifting, basketball, hockey, and athletics. Their performances in these events underscore the institution’s unwavering support for sporting excellence.
