Trindade Fernandes has been re-elected unopposed as the President of the United Club of Utorda for the term 2025–2027, marking his fourth term at the helm of one of Goa’s most active and community-driven clubs. The election was held under the supervision of Liberata Fernandes, who served as the presiding officer.

Alongside Trindade, Shawn Pereira was elected as Vice-President. The new executive committee also includes Ulorica Silviera as Secretary, Robert Noronha as Treasurer, Azavedo Gomendes as Assistant Treasurer, Pascoal Vaz as Sports Secretary, and Antonio Vincent Fernandes as Assistant Sports Secretary. Johnny Gomes will serve as the Cultural and Social Secretary. The executive members elected are Anthony L C Fernandes, Liberata Fernandes, and Cleophas Fernandes.

During his previous tenure, Trindade Fernandes led the club to notable recognition, with the Government of Goa awarding United Club of Utorda the Best Youth Club of the Year for 2017–18 under the Directorate of Youth and Sports Affairs, the club said in a statement. The club has consistently promoted grassroots football, conducting youth camps in association with the Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) and organising regular football tournaments. Last season, UC Utorda was promoted to the 2nd Division in the Goa Football Association (GFA) league.

The United Club of Utorda is also recognised for its strong representation of women, boasting one of the highest numbers of female members among clubs in Goa. The newly re-elected president emphasised that one of his main goals for this term is to increase youth participation in the club—a challenge he acknowledges but remains committed to overcoming.
