Goa Velha SC dominated their GFA First Division League match against BITS Pilani at Salvador do Mundo, winning 5-1 on Friday.
Richie Vaz opened the scoring for Goa Velha SC in the 51st minute, followed by goals from Sahil Kuttikar, Richie Vaz, and Jonas Colaco in the 62nd, 76th, and 86th minutes respectively.
BITS Pilani managed to score through Dwayne Neto in the 89th minute. However, Lokendra Thapa of Goa Velha SC added another goal, sealing the comprehensive victory for his team.
Sirlim SC outplay Curtorim Gymkhana
Sirlim SC produced a dominant performance in their match against Curtorim Gymkhana in the GFA U-15 Division II league at Navelim Ground on Friday.
Sirlim SC won 6-0 with Dallon Niasso scoring the first goal in the 5th minute. Amancio Fernandes scored through a penalty in the 18th minute, while Niasso scored his second goal in the 63rd minute. Samuel Colaco added to the scoreline in the 66th minute, and Abner Lourenso and Caian Pires scored in the 75th and 78th minutes respectively.
Navelim Veterans enter Kala Mogi finals
Navelim Veterans defeated United Club of Seraulim Veterans 4-1 and moved into the finals of the Betalbatim Kala Mogi Veterans football tournament at Betalbatim panchayat ground on Friday.
Navelim Veterans scored through Eddie Fernandes and Ricardo Carvalho, who netted in the 12th, 18th, 20th and 25th minutes. Remmy Barreto pulled a goal back for United Sports Club of Seraulim Veterans in the 36th minute.
Ambelim SC drub Varca SC 4-0
Ambelim SC defeated Varca SC 4-0 and moved into the quarterfinals of the Our Lady of Assumption Cup at Curch ground, Chinchinim on Friday. Joyston of Varca missed a chance to score in the 6th minute and Ambelim then fired four goals through Asfin Fernandes' hat-trick and another strike by Visare Araker.
Nuvem SC reach AYA Trophy quarters
Nuvem SC defeated Mormugao United Cultural and Sports Club 2-0 and moved into the quarterfinals of the AYA Rolling Trophy tournament at Raia Panchayat ground on Friday.
Nuvem netted two goals through Joywin Costa and Sanford Colaco in the 7th and 45th minutes respectively. Mormugao missed a chance to score through Stalon Lucas in the 48th minute. Earlier, the tournament was declared open by Cosme Oliveira, GFA executive committee member in the presence of Jeron Colaco, AYA club president.
