MARGAO: Guardian Angel Sports Club Curchorem cruised into their first-ever final of the 17th London Trophy Inter Village Football Tournament 2025, organized by Goa Velha Sports Club, with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Varca Sports Club.
Reagan Costa gave Guardian Angel an early lead in the first half, heading past Varca goalkeeper Shaikh. Livan Clemente secured the win in the second half, tapping in a rebound past Muhamad Shaikh in the Varca goal.
Referee Rohidas Bhomkar officiated the match smoothly, with able support from Assistant Referee Roshan Pednekar.
Adriano Gomes of Guardian Angel Sports Club was named Man of the Match and received his award from Servulo D'Silva, a member of Goa Velha Sports Club.
