The Rosary High School, Cujira, Bambolim U-17 Girls Basketball team put up a stellar performance to emerge as State Champions at the Inter-School Basketball Tournament organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs (DSYA) at the Youth Hostel, Miramar.
In a thrilling final encounter, the Rosary girls dominated the court with crisp passing, tight defence and accurate shooting to register a convincing 35–17 victory over Fatima Convent High School, Margao. The team displayed excellent coordination and discipline throughout the match, controlling every quarter and leaving little room for their opponents to recover.
The comprised of Keiya Fernandes (Captain), Sophie Sardinha, Samaira Godinho, Astrid Dias, Jerica Da Cunha, Alana Da Gama, Monique Sardinha, Yuvika Desai and Aditi Azgaonkar. They are seen along with Alice Joan Goes (Headmistress), Delmira Fernandes (Assistant Headmistress), PE Teachers Manjita Mathkar, Heramb Prabhu Gaonkar and Nikesh Mangeshkar.
