Salgaocar Football Club has begun preparations for next edition of GFA’s Professional League in the right earnest by tapping players for the coming season.
The port team does not want to lag behind when it comes to signing players. The green brigade who finished 3rd in last year’s league is keen to put the past in the back burner and start a fresh. They have signed three players from Calangute Association are Krishnath Shirodkar (central defender) Siddant Shirodkar and Darryl Costa both forwards.
Speaking to The Goan, Levino Anthony Pereira, head coach of Salgaocar FC said that the team has been undergoing gym fitness and was waiting for the clearance from All India Football Federation about new signings.
