Sporting Clube de Goa and Chapora Yuvak Sangh played out a thrilling 3–3 draw in the GFA U16 League, delivering end-to-end action and drama.

Chapora opened the scoring early when Mihir Nagvekar intercepted a misplaced pass from Sporting and calmly slotted the ball into an open net. Sporting responded quickly, with Yatin Kankonkar equalising in the 17th minute after a precise pass from Clive Gama. Sporting pressed hard, creating multiple chances, including a near-miss from Gama, while Chapora also threatened before halftime.

In the 45th minute, Sporting took the lead as Myles Pereira’s long ball found Gama, who coolly finished past Chapora goalkeeper Raghu Harijan to make it 2–1. The second half maintained the intensity, with Clive Gama’s long-range strike rattling the crossbar and Chapora striker Pritam Kumar denied by a crucial save from Riquelme Cardozo.

The closing stages saw a flurry of goals. Pritam Kumar scored directly from a corner in the 82nd minute to equalise. Chapora then won a penalty, converted by Nihal Vazarkar for a 3–2 lead. Sporting refused to yield, earning a penalty in the 88th minute, which Gama confidently converted, securing a 3–3 draw in a pulsating encounter.
