The 38th Inter-Collegiate Athletic Championship for Men and Women, organised by Goa University, was successfully held from December 16 to 18 2025 at SAG's Athletic Stadium, St. Cruz, from 9 am to 5:30 pm.
The championship witnessed enthusiastic participation from colleges across Goa, with a total of 39 athletic events conducted in both men’s and women’s categories.
DCT's Srinivassa Sinai Dempo College (Autonomous) was represented by a contingent of 34 student athletes, comprising 15 men and 19 women, who displayed commendable performance, dedication, and sportsmanship throughout the three-day event. In the men’s category. Arsh Khan (SY BBA C) emerged as a standout performer, clinching the gold medal in long jump and securing a bronze medal in triple jump. Adding to the medal tally, Shomit Sahu (TY BBA C) won the bronze medal in long jump, showcasing consistency and competitive spirit.
The medal winners were felicitated in the presence of the Principal, Prof. (Dr.) Manoj Kamat, who congratulated the athletes for their achievements and encouraged them to continue striving for excellence in sports alongside academics.
