Goans Hockey has announced the launch of a state-level hockey tournament to be held at the Peddem Sports Complex in Mapusa from November 6 to 30. The tournament will feature matches across three age categories—senior, junior, and sub-junior—for both men and women.
The event aims to promote hockey across Goa and provide a competitive platform for budding talent from across the state. Teams representing various clubs and institutions are expected to participate in what is anticipated to be a showcase of skill, discipline, and sportsmanship.
According to the organisers, the tournament schedule is as follows: Senior Men’s & Women’s Category: November 6 to November 13. Last date for registration: October 15.
Junior Men’s & Women’s Category: November 14 to November 21. Last date for registration: October 20.
Sub-Junior Men’s & Women’s Category: November 22 to November 30. Last date for registration: October 25.
The detailed match schedule, including specific game timings, will be shared with all registered clubs and schools in the coming days.
