MARGAO: United Club of Verna, in association with Together for Nuvem — an initiative of Lyndon Monteiro — successfully conducted a 12-day Free Multi-Activity Summer Camp at Verna from May 4 to May 16.
The camp featured football coaching for boys and girls below 14 years, swimming classes for boys and girls below 11 years, along with Zumba and fitness training sessions. A total of 92 participants took part in the camp.
The valedictory function was held on the final day in the presence of Chief Guest Lyndon Monteiro, Guest of Honour and Deputy Sarpanch of VP Verna, Bartolomew Costa, along with other dignitaries. Certificates were presented to all participants during the closing ceremony.
