United Club of Verna produced a dominant display, cruising to a 4-1 victory over Navelim Villagers Union to secure a place in the quarter-finals of the 18th All Goa Inter-Village Seraulim Panchayat Cup Football Tournament 2026, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim and played at Seraulim Panchayat Ground.
Verna made a strong start, opening the scoring in the 10th minute through Clifton Rebello. They continued their attacking momentum with Jesloy Moniz doubling the lead in the 24th minute, followed by Meldon Moniz striking in the 30th minute to give Verna a commanding 3-0 advantage at halftime.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Verna maintaining control. Clive Fernandes added the fourth goal in the 38th minute, sealing a comprehensive performance for his side.
Navelim Villagers Union managed a consolation goal through Richard Crasto just before the final whistle, but it did little to change the outcome as United Club Verna comfortably wrapped up a 4-1 win.
