Arnav–Sparsh, Aanav–Prajesh enter BD U15 semis

Shivanjali Thite and Sufiya Shaikh stormed into the Girls Doubles U17 final with a dominant 21-3, 21-13 victory over Aakanksha Rana and Gauravi Bodekar. They will face Dimple Revankar and Ritika Chelluri, who booked their spot with a convincing 21-14, 21-9 win over second seeds Jewel Abranches and Sampurna Patra in the semifinal of the State Sub Junior (U15 & U17) Badminton Ranking Tournament being held at the Indoor Stadium, Ponda Sports Complex. The tournament is organized by Radiant Sports Club in aegis with the Goa Badminton Association.
In the Boys Doubles U15 quarterfinals, fifth seeds Arnav Saraf and Sparsh Kolwalkar ousted Ateendra Gaonkar and Viraditya Pai Kane, winning 21-14, 21-4, while seventh seeds Aanav Kolvalkar and Prajesh Gawas advanced with a 21-11, 21-14 win over Arnav Ramnathkar and Vihang Sadhale.
In the Girls Singles U17 quarterfinals, top seed Shivanjali Thite beat Sampurna Patra 21-11, 21-18, and was joined in the semifinals by Saanvi Audi, Ritika Chelluri and Sufiya Shaikh, who all won their respective matches over Crisanne D'Sa, Dimple Revankar and Niharika Parwar respectively.
Top-seeded Advait Balakrishnan defeated Atharv Sadaye 21-13, 21-10 to move into the Boys Singles U17 semifinals, joined by Sudhanva Udupa, Devansh Sakpal and Aarush Pawaskar, all of whom registered strong wins over Devaj Vaingankar, Sanand Nair and Vansh Khedkar respectively.
In Boys Doubles U17, Advait paired with Owais Tahasildar to overcome Devaj Vaingankar and Vansh Natekar 21-9, 21-16. Also advancing to the semifinals were Shaurya Naik–Ved Shetye who upset Karthikeyan N and Shane D'Souza in three tight games, Devansh Sakpal–Vansh Khedkar who advanced via walkover from Gaurav Paradkar and Ramchandra Patil, and Aloisius Rodrigues–Sanand Nair, who edged out second seeds Harsh Mulik and Sudhanva Udupa in two hard fought games.
