Akshara Anil Priolkar, a 12-year-old athlete competing in the U-14 category, delivered an outstanding performance at the 26th Cadet, Sub-Junior, Junior and Senior National Sqay Martial Arts Championship held at Gachibowli International Stadium, Hyderabad, recently.
Representing Goa, Akshara clinched two gold medals in the Fighting and Aerosqay events, earning qualification for the international-level tournament.
The championship was organised by the Sqay Association of Telangana under the aegis of the Sqay Federation of India. Earlier, Akshara also impressed at the 3rd State Level Sqay Martial Arts Championship (2025–26), where she won one gold and one silver medal, paving her way to the national event.
