Ambelim SC registered a dominant 3–0 victory over Carmona SC in the 3rd Fr. Bruno Leitao Memorial Inter-Village Football Tournament, organized by the Union of Chinchinim Villagers and played at the Chinchinim Church Ground.
The match began with Ambelim SC taking early control. In the 14th minute, Samson Fernandes put his team ahead with a well-placed deflection from an Arvin Fernandes cross, giving Ambelim a 1–0 lead. Carmona SC had a golden opportunity to equalize in the 26th minute, but Shanon missed from close range, keeping the score 1–0 at halftime.
Ambelim continued to dominate in the second half, applying consistent pressure on Carmona’s defense. Their persistence paid off when Crosley Luis scored with a fine header to double the lead. Despite Carmona’s efforts to fight back, Ambelim’s solid defense left no room for a comeback.
Ashfin sealed the win with a third goal, capping off a convincing performance by Ambelim SC.
The final score stood at 3–0 in favor of Ambelim SC.
