MARGAO: Chandor Club advanced to the next round of the Cipriano Silva Memorial 9-A-Side Inter-Village Floodlight Football Tournament, organized by Ambelim Sports Club, with a 1-0 victory over Navelim Sporting at the Ambelim ground on Tuesday.
Chandor Club found the back of the net twice, courtesy of goals from Akram Yadward and Allywn Faria.
Moses D’Sa of Chandor Club was named Man of the Match for his outstanding performance.
