The final of the All-India Under-13 Cricket Tournament, organised by the Margao Cricket Youth Club (MCYC), will be played on Thursday between Dwarka Cricket Academy, Nashik and Union Gymkhana, Belgaum at the Rajendra Prasad Stadium in Margao.
The last round of league matches, held on Wednesday, produced high-scoring games and dominant performances, setting the stage for a blockbuster finale.
In the first match at the KRC Ground, Crick 9 Academy defeated hosts MCYC by 67 runs. Crick 9 posted 155/7 in 18 overs, thanks to a half-century from Prince Kalate (56). MCYC managed only 88/3 in reply, with Aryan Singh scoring an unbeaten 43.
At the SAG Ground in Fatorda, Dwarka Cricket Academy continued their ruthless form, crushing VPCC 13 by 146 runs. Batting first, Dwarka amassed 198/4 in 20 overs, with a brilliant 94 by Aman Katkade. VPCC were bowled out for just 52, with Parth Jadhav and Rajveer Mullani among the wickets.
In another fixture at the same venue, Just Cricket Bangalore outplayed Champions NET Hubli, winning by 97 runs. Zainuddin starred with a knock of 81 as Just Cricket scored 173/5. Champions NET were bowled out for 76.
Back at the KRC Ground, Union Gymkhana produced a clinical performance, beating Acuwer by 127 runs. Union piled on 171/1 in 20 overs with Sairaj Porwal (58) and Sachin T. (43)* leading the scoring. Acuwer were bundled out for 44, with Ayush Malavi grabbing a stunning 8 wickets for 13 runs.
