The 3rd edition of the Battle of the Ballers 3x3 Tournament, organized by KJs Basketball Club, concluded on an electrifying note at the Youth Hostel Miramar after three days of intense basketball action. The tournament, which brought together over 350 young athletes representing 102 teams, showcased high-octane competition and remarkable talent across eight age categories.
The final day featured nail-biting clashes, with several local derbies keeping spectators on the edge of their seats. In the Under-8 Girls division, the Raiders emerged victorious, defeating KJs, who finished as runners-up. The Under-8 Boys title went to Don Bosco Sports Academy (DBSA), Fatorda, while KJs secured second place.
The Under-10 Girls category saw a thrilling club showdown, with KJs B claiming the top spot and KJs A finishing second. Meanwhile, in the Under-10 Boys division, DBSA continued their strong run to take home the trophy, with the Raiders finishing as runners-up.
In the Under-12 Girls finals, Moira displayed dominant play to overcome Sunshine World High School, securing the championship. The Under-12 Boys final was a closely contested affair between club-mates, with Libanya Cagers B narrowly defeating Libanya Cagers A to lift the trophy.
DBSA added another feather to their cap by winning the Under-14 Girls category, overcoming the Sonics, who finished as runners-up. The Under-14 Boys crown was claimed by Loyola, with the Cosmic Ballers taking second place after an intense final.
