MARGAO: Mandopa Sporting blanked Fr Agnelo S&CC Paroda 2-0 in the All Goa Inter Village Football Tournament, organised by United Sports Club of Seraulim in memory of late Rev. Fr. Joe Gomes, at the Seraulim Panchayat ground.
Mandopa took control early, with Richard Crasto opening the scoring in the 21st minute, followed by a fine strike from Travis Souza in the 30th minute to give his side a comfortable 2-0 lead at halftime.
Mandopa continued to dominate proceedings in the second half but failed to add to their tally, eventually sealing a deserved 2-0 victory.
