Pedrina Boys edged out Manvelina Boys 5–4 via a penalty shootout in a spirited São João celebration football match held at the Davorlim Panchayat Ground on Tuesday.
Manvelina Boys took the lead in the first half through a well-taken goal by striker Liston Colaco. However, Pedrina Boys bounced back in the second half, with Venson Figueiredo netting the equaliser to take the game into a tie-breaker.
In the ensuing penalty shootout, Pedrina Boys held their nerve and emerged as the better side, converting their chances to seal a 5–4 victory.
Anthony Colaco, President of Rosay Veterans, presented the winners' trophy to Pedrina Boys.
