MARGAO: Reuben Rocha and Aradhya Pradeep Borkar, students of Bethany Convent High School, Sao Jose de Areal, delivered impressive performances at the Mini Secondary School Sports U-11 Swimming Competition organised by the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs.
Reuben Rocha won the gold medal in the 50m breaststroke and silver medal in the backstroke event.
Aradhya Pradeep Borkar secured the silver medal in the backstroke and bronze medal in the breaststroke. Aradhya also represents Vidhya Bharti Primary School, Margao.
Both swimmers were trained by Margao RCC coach Sir Inacio “Netty” Raposo at the Fatorda Swimming Pool.
