Rosary College of Commerce & Arts, Navelim won Inter Collegiate Hockey Women Championship 2025-26, organized by Goa University at Hockey Turf, Dayanand Bandodkar Krida Sankool, Peddem, Mapusa.
In the well contested hockey Women’s finals, Rosary College of Commerce & Arts, Navelim defeated Don Bosco College, Panjim wining by full time score of 1-0.
Earlier in the semifinals, Rosary College of Commerce & Arts, Navelim defeated St. Xavier’s college by 2-0 and Don Bosco College, Panjim defeated St. Joseph Vaz College, Cortalim-Murmagao by 7-0.
In total 5 women teams participated in the 2 days Inter College Hockey Women Championship.
Best Player Women was awarded to Shaundelle Gomes from Rosary College of Commerce & Arts, Navelim.
Vivek Pawar, Dpty. Director, Directorate of Sports & Youth Affairs, Government of Goa and Guest of Honour Cap. Dr. Sam Braganza, College director of physical education and sports, Government College Pernem along with Balachandra B. Jadar, Asst. Director of Physical Education and Sports, Goa University presented medals and trophies to the winners and runners ups.
