Rossman Cruz SC Nagoa secured a convincing 3–1 victory over Don Bosco Oratory in a high-tempo encounter in the 1st All Goa Inter Village Mansion House Cup 2025 at the Cuncolim Ground on Wednesday.
Rossman Cruz started the game on the front foot and nearly took the lead in the 7th minute through Euselsio Fernandes, but the effort was ruled offside. Don Bosco responded quickly, with Edison Dias firing just wide in the 10th minute.
The breakthrough came in the 12th minute when Aglon Abranches found space in the box and slotted home calmly to give Rossman Cruz a 1–0 lead. Just six minutes later, a sharp move down the flank saw Roydon Rego provide a smart assist for Sheldon Pereira, who doubled the advantage with a clinical finish to make it 2–0.
Rossman continued to press, and in the 22nd minute, Clifton Rebello came close to adding a third but shot over the bar. Don Bosco had a chance to respond via a corner in the 30th minute, but the Rossman defense held firm. The first half ended 2–0 in favor of the Nagoa side.
Don Bosco Oratory came out with renewed energy in the second half. Their efforts were rewarded in the 33rd minute when Valito Miranda pulled one back with a well-taken goal, cutting the deficit to 2–1.
However, Rossman Cruz quickly regained control. In the 51st minute, Clifton Rebello restored the two-goal cushion, finishing a swift attacking move to make it 3–1. Despite late attempts from Mario Noronha and Valito Miranda, Don Bosco could not find the target again.
Sheldon Pereira was named Man of the Match for his impactful performance, including a crucial goal. The award was presented by Sammy Tavares, former Superintendent of Police, Goa.
