SAI Avtar Anjuna secured a place in the semifinals of the 35th All Goa St Anne's Festival Inter-Village Soccer Tournament 2025, organized by Ponda Footballers and powered by Dr. Bhatikar Charitable Trust and SAG. The match was held at the Animal Husbandry Ground, Curti, Ponda.
SAI Avtar edged past hosts Ponda Footballers with a narrow 1-0 victory, thanks to an early goal by Faheer Mohammad in the 10th minute. Despite numerous attempts, Ponda Footballers were unable to find the equalizer.
Faheer Mohammad was named Man of the Match for his decisive performance. The award was presented by sports journalist Inacio Noronha.
