United Club of Verna booked their place in the final of the 31st Mandopa Cup with a commanding 5-1 victory over Arlem Youth Association at the ground of Mandopa Sporting Club on Thursday. After a goalless first half in which both sides created chances, Verna took control following the restart. Joasle Fernandes struck a hat-trick in the 38th, 50th and 54th minutes, while Arfan Syed and Clive Fernandes added further goals in the 32nd and 34th minutes. Silvan Oliveira scored the lone goal for Arlem. Eli Rego of United Club of Verna was named Player of the Match and received the prize from former footballer Richard Costa.

MARGAO: FC Goa secured a narrow 1-0 win over South Goa United Club of Sports & Culture in an AIFF Junior League 2025-26 match at the Monte de Guirim Ground in Guirim. Crossley Warren Dias scored the decisive goal in the 17th minute to settle the contest. Bryson Dias was influential in the closing stages, delivering a cross in the 87th minute and testing the defence with a late effort in the 89th, as FC Goa held on for victory.
