Union Gymkhana (Belgaum) clinched victory against Rajasthan Royals to storm into the final of the 4th U-13 Exposure T-20 Tournament on the third day of competition. They will face Anand Cricket Academy in the title clash scheduled for Thursday at the Konkan Railway Colony Ground, Margao.
At the Fatorda SAG Cricket Ground, Rajasthan Royals posted 110/7 in 20 overs after useful contributions from Shourya Jagtap (42), Aryan Mishra (33) and Aayansh Kolekar (18). Salman Dharwadkar and Mohammed Salemwale picked up a wicket each for Union Gymkhana.
In reply, Union Gymkhana finished at 110/5, forcing the match into a super over. Mohammed Salemwale starred with a fine 52, while Raghav V. remained unbeaten on 16. Aryaman Singh claimed 2/15 for Rajasthan Royals. Union Gymkhana were declared winners after spinning the coin. Salemwale was named Player of the Match.
Earlier, at the Konkan Railway Ground, Anand Cricket Academy defeated MCA (South) by eight wickets, powered by Jiva B’s unbeaten 29. In other matches, VDCA beat Panthers Cricket Academy by 16 runs, while Margao Cricket Academy (ACDIL) registered a comfortable nine-wicket win over Akshaya Cricket Academy.
