In another close contest, Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ambaulim (B) defeated St. John the Baptist Church (A), Benaulim by the same margin, courtesy of a match-winning strike from Benjamin.
Our Lady of Fatima Church, Dicarpale (A) registered a 2-1 victory over Our Lady of Assumption Church, Velsao in an entertaining encounter, with Messi and Crisan finding the net for the winners.
Holy Spirit Church, Margao delivered a dominant performance, defeating St. Anne Church, Parra 3-0. Rylon starred with a brace, while another goal completed a comfortable win.
The biggest win of the day came when Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Ambaulim (C) thrashed Our Lady of Monserrate Chapel, Manora 8-0 in a one-sided match. Mashuen struck a hat-trick, Clavin scored twice, while Ashvon and Valin also added to the tally.
In another result, St. Sebastian Chapel, Benaulim blanked Our Lady of Fatima Church, Dicarpale (B) 3-0, with Shanoy Rebello among the standout performers.
