PANAJI: Rosary College of Commerce and Arts will host an international conference on physical education and sports science from February 11 to 14, 2026, bringing together experts from India and abroad to discuss new directions in the field. The event, themed ‘One nation, one cadre, one goal’, will provide a platform for academicians, researchers, coaches and administrators. Sessions will examine health-related fitness, artificial intelligence in sport, exercise strategies for healthy ageing among women, diabetes and fitness, among other subjects. Organisers said over 200 research papers are scheduled for presentation. Sports Minister Ramesh Tawadkar will attend the inaugural function. The valedictory programme will be led by PWD Minister Digambar Kamat, while MLA Ulhas Tuenkar will be the guest of honour. The conference is supported by the Indian Council of Social Science Research and the Directorate of Sports and Youth Affairs, among others.
