S&T Council invites proposals for celebrating National Science Day, National Maths Day

The Goa State Council for Science and Technology (GSCST), Saligao celebrates National Science Day (NSD) on February 28 every year to commemorate the discovery of Raman Effect by great scientist and Noble Laureate Sir CV Raman.

GSCST has invited proposals for grant-in-aid support from S and T based academic institutions and science-based organizations for celebrating National Science Day – February 28 to organise number of activities like debates, quizzes, exhibitions, lectures, radio talk shows, etc involving schools, colleges and general masses to take the programme across the State. It has also invited proposals from interested schools and S and T Organisations for celebrating National Mathematics Day 2021, for organising mathematics related quizzes, lectures, competitions, etc as December 22 is observed as National Mathematics Day (NMD) in the State. The last date for submitting proposals to the Member Secretary, Goa State Council for Science and Technology, Opposite to Saligao Seminary, Saligao, Bardez-Goa 403511 is March 5.
