Donning the blue jersey since 1999, the captain from Rajasthan has played a number of match winning innings and today holds an important role in the team. After playing under a number of captains, Mithali’s prowess and focus toward the game awarded her the captain’s role.rVery few knew about Mithali. In fact many didn’t even know Mithali Raj was the captain of Indian women’s cricket team, let alone her records. It is not mere ignorance but the obsession which we show toward men’s cricket that has overshadowed any other form of cricket.
