"Effective from September 10, we will operate two newdaily and direct flights between Chandigarh and Mumbai.
Additionally, we will also connect Chandigarh with Goa andAhmedabad via Mumbai," IndiGo President Aditya Ghosh told reporters heretoday.
The fare for flight from Chandigarh to Mumbai has been keptat Rs 4,504 and from Mumbai to Chandigarh it is Rs 4,670.
The fare for flight from Chandigarh to Goa and Ahmedabad viaMumbai is Rs 4,977 and Rs 4,714, respectively.
These new services will further consolidate IndiGo'sposition in the country, with its 373 flights connecting 33 destinations acrossthe nation, he said.
IndiGo has also plans to start operations from Chandigarh toSrinagar and Bangalore.
"We are also looking at the connectivity of Chandigarhwith Bangalore and Srinagar in near future," he added.
