Academia-industry meet at Agnel Ashram

To strengthen the industry-institute relationship, the department of computer engineering at Agnel Polytechnic, Verna organised one day interactive session between industry and students. Representatives of companies were invited to interact with the students so that students are well informed about the training in companies and the norms to be followed.  

The program was attended by the director of Agnel Technical Complex, Fr Anthony Castello, head of the department of computer engineering Dr Vijay Borges; Rohin Parker and Vaibhavi Parker, representatives from Mrinq Technologies; Rizelle Almeida and Deepak Das, representatives from Conexao Tech Solutions ,faculty coordinator Shruti Mamledar ; lectures of the department of computer engineering Swizzle D’Silva , Savio D’Souza , Simao D’Cunha and students of computer engineering department. The students interacted with the industry representatives in smaller groups. Industry being important stakeholder, an interactive session like this would be an advantage to both the students as well as the Institute. About 27 students were placed in 11 different industries.
