LONDON
Wembley Hill Ward Councillor Floyd Dias Do Rosario in association with the Allan Silveira Charity Foundation has announce free online classes for children aged 5-12 years in the UK, to focus on teaching of the Bible, moral values, poetry, and Romi Konkani language learning.
Rosario said this initiative aims to provide children with meaningful learning, values-based education, and language enrichment, including Romi Konkani language learning, in a simple and engaging way.
He informed that these classes will begin in September as a trial initiative.
“If it goes well, we will continue with a regular schedule of four classes every month. For the trial period, classes will be held twice a month, on the first and fourth week,” said Rosario.
“The classes will be conducted via Zoom and telecast from Goa. Goan children from all over the UK are welcome to join. The class timings are from 11.30 am to 12:45 pm in the UK.
Rosario informed that the registration process will start soon.
“In future, we may also plan to introduce physical classroom sessions, depending on the success of the programme,” he added.
