The Goenchi Mati Movement recently organised Rally for Goa, a public meeting to discuss the People's Manifesto for the upcoming elections at Jardim Garcia de Orta, Panaji. The rally was enlivened by the antics and mimicry of stand up comedian Manohar Bingi from Ponda and by satirical songs -- including one on the mining loot -- sung by Francis de Tuem, the well known tiatrist.
