The Anti Narcotics Cell (ANC) sleuths arrested a 29-year-old for allegedly peddling over 3.8 kgs of suspected ganja in Mapusa.The accused, identified as Saish Khavare, a resident of Verla Canca, was arrested during the raid on Saturday. The ANC stated that the contraband, weighing 3.854 kg and estimated to be worth Rs 1.92 lakh, was recovered from the scooter, both of which were seized for probe and forensic analyses.
Khavare was produced before the Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMFC), Mapusa and has been remanded to four days in police custody.
