Bal Bhavan, Pratham Club to hold STEM, robotics sessions

PANAJI: Bal Bhavan Goa and Pratham Club, Mapusa, will organise free STEM and Robotics awareness and training sessions for students as part of preparations for the World STEM & Robotics Olympiad (WSRO) Goa Regionals 2026. The initiative, supported by the Goa State Council of Educational Research and Training (GSCERT), aims to encourage interest in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) and Robotics among students aged 8 to 16 years. The sessions will be conducted under the guidance of software consultant and Pratham Club founder Anay Kamat.  

Students will be introduced to STEM and Robotics concepts through hands-on activities, experiments, creative projects and innovation-based learning exercises, including the “STEM Balloon Car” activity. The North Goa session will be held at Bal Bhavan, Campal, Panaji, on June 15, while the South Goa session will take place at the Bal Bhavan Centre, Aquem, Margao, on June 16. Participation certificates will be distributed to attendees.
