Team 25005A PRATHAM One, the first and only VEX IQ robotics team representing Goa, delivered an outstanding performance at the VEX IQ India National Championship 2025. Held on January 17 at the Ascend International School in Mumbai, the event featured 19 top teams from across the country in the Elementary category. Building on their success at the Delhi Regionals, the team displayed remarkable consistency and strategy. Despite being a parent-mentored community team competing against large institutional teams, PRATHAM One ranked 4th in the alliance qualification matches and finished 3rd in the final matches. Their innovative spirit and presentation skills also earned them the prestigious Judges' Choice Award. The team members are Vedang Anay Kamat, Std V, Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa, Surabhi Shubesh Manerikar, Std V, Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa, Rajvi Vishwanath Marathe, Std IV, Smt Laxmibai Sanzgiri Memorial Primary School, Sakhali, and Shourya Ganpat Prabhu Kapdi, Std VI, Saraswat Vidyalaya, Mapusa. The students were mentored by Anay Kamat, while Maya Kamat guided practice sessions and coached the team for their presentation.
