Lighthouse, an archdiocesan centre for books, religious articles and gifts, will open its new centre at the Institute Piedade building, near the main SBI branch, in Panaji on August 24.
The centre will be inaugurated by Archbishop of Goa Cardinal Filipe Neri Ferrão in the presence of Auxiliary Bishop Simião Purificacao Fernandes and other dignitaries.
Lighthouse brings together a wide range of products that support personal faith, Christian living and the celebration of important milestones in the lives of individuals and families.
The collection includes sacred statues and crucifixes, beautifully crafted rosaries, devotional and spiritual books, prayer books, gifts for Baptisms, First Holy Communions and Weddings, as well as altar supplies such as candles, incense and other liturgical essentials.

Lighthouse operates its branches at Margao (opposite the cemetery) and Vasco (St Andrew’s Church complex), besides a store in the Basilica of Bom Jesus.
