PANAJI: As part of its MOG Sundays series, the Museum of Goa (MOG) will host a talk by Prof Manoj Borkar, Head of the Zoology Department at Carmel College for Women, on June 22 at 11.30 am in Pilerne. Titled ‘Not-So-Charismatic Wildlife of Goa’, the session will explore the shadowy world of little-known creatures such as whip spiders, whip scorpions and tarantulas. Prof Borkar, also the founder of the Biodiversity Research Cell, will highlight their unique features, ecological roles and natural beauty.
