PANAJI: Shamika Ravi, member of the Economic Advisory Council to the Prime Minister, will deliver a public lecture on ‘Women, Work and Viksit Bharat @2047’ at the International Centre Goa (ICG) on June 20 at 6 pm. The talk will focus on how increasing women’s participation in the workforce is key to achieving India’s development goals. Currently secretary to the Government of India, Ravi holds a PhD in Economics from New York University. She was earlier associated with Brookings India, the Observer Research Foundation, and the Brookings Institution.
