VASCO: Mormugao SDPO SP Gurudas Kadam will receive the President’s Police Medal for distinguished and meritorious service. Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will confer the honour on him at the Independence Day function in Panaji on August 15. Kadam has been recognised for his contributions to law and order, crime prevention and policing during various assignments. He has held several key positions in Goa Police and handled challenging duties. As Mormugao SDPO, he oversees policing in the coastal taluka and coordinates with police stations on law and order. The President’s Police Medal is among the prestigious honours awarded to police personnel for distinguished service and exceptional commitment to duty.
