PANAJI: Elders of the Senior Citizens Recreation Centre at Pedda, Margao, run by the Lions Club of Margao Service Trust, attended an awareness session on cyber hygiene practices conducted by the Goa Police Cyber Crime Cell under the Information Security Education Awareness initiative of the Ministry of Electronics and IT, Government of India.
The session was led by Cyber Yoddha and an Inspector of Goa Police, who explained in detail how online frauds take place due to small lapses and shared practical tips to avoid such threats. The elders were briefed on safe practices to be followed in their daily use of digital platforms and said they felt better prepared to handle cyber risks.
