The Rajbhasha Sanchalanalaya of the Goa government has announced the Bhasha Puraskar for the past three consecutive years, and Chief Minister Pramod Sawant will give away these awards on May 30 at a programme at Kala Academy at 10 am. The awards are for the year 2022-23, 2-23-24 and 2024-25. The Dynanpeethkar Ravindra Kelekar Konkani Bhasha Puraskar of 2022-24 will be given to noted writer Manikrao Ram Nayak Gaunekar. The same award for the year 2023-24 will be given to Suresh Ramchandra Pai and the award for 2024-25 will be given to Bhiku Bomi Naik. The B D Satoskar Marathi Bhasha Puraskar for 2022-23 is announced to Shambhu Bhau Bandekar, and the same award for the year 2023-24 will be given to Anil Samant. The award for 2024-25 will be given to Ramesh Vanskar. A five-member committee appointed by the government selected the above writers from among the list of nominations. The selection is based on the contribution of these writers to Marathi and Konkani language.
