PANAJI: The Goa School Managements Association has accused the Education Department of favouritism in sanctioning permanent posts for teaching and non-teaching staff across schools in the State.
In a press statement on Sunday, Action Committee Convenor Prashant Naik said the department was granting NOCs to only a few schools, while rejecting others that meet all criteria.
He warned that the association would move the High Court if the government does not resolve the issue before Teachers’ Day, September 5.
