A Kolkata-based man has been booked on charges of sexually harassing a female colleague at a resort in Bogmalo According to Vasco police, the incident occurred between July 19 and July 20, when the complainant and the accused, identified as Shubham Sahu from Kolkata, were on vacation in Goa. In her complaint, the woman alleged that Sahu, who is her office colleague, touched her in an inappropriate manner on multiple occasions during their stay at the resort. Based on the complaint, Vasco police booked Sahu under Section 75(2) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS), 2023. The case is presently being investigated by PSI Priyanka Patil of Vasco Police Station.
