PANAJI: The Museum of Goa (MOG) will be organising conversations, film screenings, and talks celebrating Goan and global creativity in a series in the upcoming days. On October 12 screenings of acclaimed Konkani short films Wagro, Leela and Straight Ahead to exemplify the strong roots amplified through Konkani cinema. These films explore identity, friendship and the global reach of Konkani cinema. Anjum Rajabali will explore why Sholay remains the iconic, analysing its lasting appeal through ‘The astounding success of Sholay: Examining its popular appeal through the lens of the Rasa Theory) on October 19. Arts leader Ruchira Das will share the insights from her 25-year journey in arts administration, festival curation and mentorship across India and internationally through ‘Everything You Can Imagine: A 25-Year Journey in the Arts’ on October 26.
