Salome D’Costa is the new deputy Sarpanch of the village panchayat of Nuvem. In the elections held on Monday, Salome was declared elected unopposed after the presiding officer received her lone nomination paper for the vacant post.
Sarpanch Freda D’Sa along with other panchayat members were present at the election held on Monday.
