PANAJI: Sinquerim SC put on a dominant display, thrashing Valpoi FC 5-0 in the Sesa Vedanta Cup U-15 girls' football tournament semifinal held at Sirsaim ground.
Prachi Naik was the star of the show for Sinquerim, bagging a brace with goals in the 28th and 48th minutes. The second half saw a goal blitz from Sinquerim, with Purva Gawas finding the net in the 49th minute. Siena Fernandes then took over, scoring two quick goals in the 56th and 58th minute to seal the emphatic victory for her team.
Sinquerim SC’s Prachi Naik bagged the player of the match award and the award was presented by GFA Executive Member Laximan Hadfadkar.
