PANAJI: The third edition of the SUPER8 OTT Tiatr Awards will be held at Ravindra Bhavan, Margao, on January 2 at 10 am. The winners will be chosen through public voting. This year, the awards have 18 categories, including Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Tiatr, Best Writer, Best Dialogues and Best Comedian (Male/Female). Only tiatrs available on the SUPER8 OTT platform are eligible. The nominations are handled by platform producer Joywin Fernandes, while the final voting is done entirely by the public. “This is the best part of these awards,” said the Goan filmmaker. Entry to the event is free and open to all.
Joywin said that SUPER8 OTT offers a wide range of movies and shows. Some of its premium tiatrs include Ho Sonvsar Atamchea Bhurgeancho, Gerrak Nhoi Vorrak Melo, Amka Ballgun Dovor and Moji Maim Mhoji Sasumaim. He also spoke about the need for an independent film certification body in Goa, saying it is costly to send films to Mumbai or other States for approval.
