PANAJI: Veteran tiatrist Pedro Caitan D’Silva, popularly known as C. D’Silva, will be felicitated on March 26 on the occasion of his 90th birthday at a special programme organised by the Tiatr Academy of Goa in collaboration with Ravindra Bhavan Margao. The event will be held at 3.30 pm at the Conference Hall of Ravindra Bhavan, Margao. D’Silva will be honoured for his decades-long contribution to the Konkani tiatr stage as an actor, singer, writer and director. On the occasion, his non-stop drama Pixem will also be released in book form. Noted artistes Menino Fernandes (Menino de Bandar) and Antonio Edwin D’Costa will also be felicitated for their contributions to tiatr, Khell and Konkani music. A Konkani musical show featuring award-winning songs by child artistes will also be presented.
